The ship at left is an unidentified good Samaritan boat offering help as the listing Empress rounds Point Retreat, the north end of Admiralty Island. The Coast Guard successfully facilitated the evacuation of all of the 200-plus passengers from the ship after it ran aground early Monday about 15 miles southwest of Juneau.
